This Little Piggy ...
Well, here's the situation. With the kids starting into "regular" school tomorrow and me not able to put a shoe on my foot with the broken toe - my husband is taking the day off work. HE is going to take the kids shopping for the few school things that I don't already have on hand.
I am going to be home with my foot propped up. Alone. Just me and my foot - and my computer. And stacks of books I haven't read and reams of writing I want to do ... Oh, my! Cool.
You know blessings come in all shapes and colors. I'm beginning to see that a fat purple toe can be a huge blessing.

Enjoy as much as possible!
Well I'm certainly glad that you're seeing the positive side to a fat purple piggy! Enjoy!
There's something to be said for alone time!!! Hope your toe heals quickly for you!!
lol... Good for you. You have a blessed day today, enjoy yourself. Love, Cathie Jo
Hey, even clouds can be a good thing. You just have to figure out the positive.
Enjoy your day.
Ahhhh...the silver lining. You're lucky. I broke a toe while on vacation in Florida once. The family still made me go to Disney, and the Space Center and Bush Gardens. It was not pleasent.
Well at least you can see it in a good perspective!!!
I hope your toe gets better soon!

Just you and your foot eh? Hope you guys have a nice relaxing day!
Tomorrow! Are they scared....excited.....what? What grades will they be in? Will they pack their lunch or buy? Starting school on Halloween! Cool. I bet they'll remember that day.
I would suggest that you put that toe in a sling, but I guess it doesn't work that way.
enjoy your recovery!
Wow you page loads fast now!
I hope you can endure the pain of the broken toe so you can enjoy the solitude.

You may think it odd, but quite frankly... methinks it is the beginning! (NO not of broken bones and purple toes!)
HA!
Sail on... sail on!!!
Clouds often come after a storm, to make way for a clearer sky....
You're destined for a wonderful time ahead
Youch!!! Just looking at that pic makes my toe hurt!
I commend you on your decision to know your own weaknesses regarding your children's education. I also become overwhelmed with homeschooling but have no choice in the matter. Frankly, our schools really suck. TEA rates them as -14 on a scale with every school in the state and they have lost over half their state funding for failing the TASS test 4 yrs running(plus a little lawsuit with parents over the fact the teachers were giving the answers to some of the learning disable students). I wish they could go to public school and do well(I know they cannot). I hate the fact that they'll miss the extra curricular activities that public school offers. Maybe one day we'll move someplace where they can attend a decent school.
Know also how you feel on the toe agenda. I broke the same toe when I was 8 months pregnant on a metal folding chair. Ouch!
I hope everything works out for you and your children. Hey this should make it easier for you to come back and visit (once your toe is healed of course). So when will you be visiting again?LOL. Thank you again for your prezzies, I am really thrilled. Oh, and read my essay.
Hope you RELAX!
