  • Cholesterol and Kangaroos

So I’m trying to lower my cholesterol level.  In addition to having oatmeal every day, taking garlique tablets, and trying to work up a sweat several times a week, I’m also from time to time having a glass of red wine.  I like Merlot.  So I’ve discovered this Yellow Tail Merlot from Australia.

I like it a little too much.  Tonight, I had seconds.

I don’t know about my cholesterol, but my inhibitions are down.  I’m tempted to put the toilet paper on the roll so that the paper comes under instead of over.  I’m tempted to go to bed without doing dishes.  I’m tempted to log in to Yahoo and play Literati!

Those Kangaroos pack a powerful punch.

What do you do when your inhibitions are down?

  • I’m tempted to blog!

usually not so great from my perspective…

    so I’ll just comment instead

  • i love yellow tail! shiraz is my favorite

oh… a myriad of stupid things. most recently was dancing in a nearby water fountain in the middle of the night…… oops?

  • Usually something stupid that I’m almost immediately sorry for.

    Good thing I don’t drink.

  • Reveal too much, in a thick Texas accent.

  • I love Literati.  I’m told I’m a flirt, but I do that sober or tipsy.  Last time I was drunk, I apparently tried to smoke a friend’s cigarette.  I’m sure there were disastrous and amusing results.  I don’t do much drinking these days.

  • mmmmm…. Merlot.  This post makes wish I were through the pregnancy so I could enjoy a glass too!  LOL  The brand doesn’t even matter to me, though my first and still favorite experience was Lindeman’s Bin 40.  I haven’t tried Yellow Tail yet.  When my inhibitions are down I usually share or show too much.  I have a tendency to speak my true mind whether or not it will be offensive or start an argument.  I also used to have a tendency to be excessively flirtatious and/or remove clothing.  I’ve only been to a bar a couple of times since meeting Zeb and in the past I was always single.  My inhibitions never fell durring the recent trips.  <3 SuZ

  • One night after two glasses of Mt St Michel Riesling, I (oh what will you think of me?)…. I… I went to bed without brushing my teeth!

  • Way too embarrasing!  I don’t even WANT to remember, let alone share!

  • I have a nice merlot waiting for dinner…uhm, with dinner.

  • The world may never know.

  • Just get sleepy and giggle a lot.

  • ha I don’t need wine to not do dishes. LOL When My inhibitions are down I dance in my kitchen. :0)  that is scary for every one else.

  • Well, I’ve never heard of Literati! but I’m definitely going to try it.  Ah, a fledgling wine drinker!  I’ve been lowering my cholesterol with this method for many, many years now.  I lower it with all KINDS of wine, including Yellow Tail, which I love, but not as much as Toasted Head, which I really love.  I love the bear on the label, but I love the wine even more.  I expect I’m going to live for 100 more years, what with all the wine I drink and oatmeal I eat.  Typically when my inhibitions are down, I write.  Sometimes in other people’s comment boxes.

  • Garlique tablets don’t sound that tasty.  What do I do when I let my inhibitions down?? Hmmmm…I feel like I never do.
