Nevermind Again
I've been notified that the company I applied with for medical coverage has declined to cover me. So, it doesn't really matter that my boss is willing to pay. I should be getting a letter in a week to ten days stating the reason they denied my coverage.
I'm sure I'll feel better once I get that information.
Not.

crap.
darnit! maybe you're already doing this, but if not... I suggest working through an independent agent. We buy our own insurance for our entire family (self-employed) and, as I had a pre-existing condition with asthma, the agent was able to prescreen several plans and insurance companies for us before coming back to me with our options. It saved me a ton of time!! And the frustration of denied applications
@DrTiff - that's an excellent idea. I'm going to wait until I get the letter telling me WHY I was denied this insurance before I try anything else, but I agree that may be the better way to go. Thanks for the encouragement.
in MN if you are denied coverage you get put on the state insurance you still have a premium but usally it isn't too bad...mine is $34 bucks and my co-pays for everything is 3 bucks
@fairydragonstar - yeah - unfortunately I don't live in MN anymore
boo.
What a bummer!!
I'm sorry to hear this. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Hugs, C.
It's gonna get better soon, really!
pooh on those awful insurance companies!!!!!
Those nasty no good #%$^^$#^^&#@@ so there.
Thanks so much for your nice words.
Sorry to hear about the problems with the insurance company. They look for any chance not to pay. Disgustingly greedy people. Good luck. It's a constant battle.
You are, if nothing else, persistent!
Sail on… sail on!!!
that sucks like a hoover 2000
When I think you were so happy just at the previous post . This is a sad news and I hope the problem will be solved .
