It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like ...
We have a busy day planned today. Laundry and vacuuming this morning (I've already cleaned the kitchen). Then we have board games, a trip over to the theater for National Treasure. And I'm stopping by Lowe's to pick up fireplace tools. It's finally not smelling quite so much like someone has been camping in my living room, so hey, we're ready to start burning stuff again ...
Tucker wakes up every morning and counts the packages. Some mornings he even finds an extra one or two.
We are having dinner with my mentor friend from church, Miss Eva, tomorrow. So we're making one more batch of Christmas cookies to take along.
And I'm playing the Christmas music.
If you haven't discovered Flatpick yet, I'd highly recommend that you drop by his site, and give a listen to Randy playing "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen." You can tell him Terri sent you.

Yes, I went yesterday to purchase the air freshener refills of all my favorite holiday scents at Bath & Body Works. The house smells like a mix of orange, evergreen & sugar cookies. The evergreen one is my favorite, they got that one just right! It smells like I've got a real tree without the mess or fire risk!
Ya'll have a wonderful day!
Thanks for the link.... cool picken, was he grinin too?
Thanks for that link, he's really good! You know my Lyss flatpicks? She is going to love this. Haha, my brother has a woodstove in his basement and his whole house smells like a campsite in winter. Hope you and the boys have a wonderful day and Christmas!
We're down to the wire here with all the Xmas stuff, so I probably won't be around til after the 26th. I just wanted to say that your words here have meant a lot to me over the last several years. I think I came in when you were beginning divorce proceedings, so I've followed along with your moves and the boys and your growth since then. At times you amaze me. I think you're so much stronger than you think you are. You inspire me, make me smile, and best of all, you make me think!
Wishing you and your family a wonderful, peaceful, joyous holiday.
