The Best Part of Parenting
You know, I love my kids. I can't imagine what I used to do for entertainment back in the days before I had them. I can't remember days of having time for entertainment.
But one of the best parts of living with the guys is that I get to hear their take on my life.
"She's playing with fire again."
"I don't think now is the time to ask her, she looks like she needs chocolate."
and my favorite from this afternoon
"She's working, if you ask her now, she'll never pay attention and you'll get a "yes" for sure."

Psssst - kids ... come here ... "She's not DEAF."

I've been promising Andrea that I'd get a new soundcard installed so we could do real video conferencing with sound and everything. It got installed today. (yeah!) So now I'm all ready and I'm going to ....
Play Sims.
YES!

I like this one: ....she looks like she needs chocolate. I'm glad to see they understand women.
Send them over here anytime with some chocolate.
I like those remarks the kids made they are so like little boys. Judi
ROFL!
Kids are great...and you know what...my brother and I still say stuff like that about our mom!
You have that to look forward to for many, many years! Hehe!
This was really cool. Since I don't have children I can only imagine the kinds of things they say. Seriously, if they were born housetrained already and they didn't cry and scream, I'd have had a few by now.
It's nice to see you're doing well. Less stressful times these days it seems. XO
"She needs chocolate."
They appear to understand you very well!!
I'm taking a class dealing with Special Education this semester, so I shall be learning how to successfully teach special kids in the classroom. Hopefully, I will not be the cause of any horror stories like the ones you've experienced...
Sims. Heee hee. If you feel like you can be addicted to Sims, stay way way away from Second Life.
oh my goodness...your boys are so sweet!!! Children can say the darndest things!!!
I hope you are staying cooler there than we are here....it is hot!!!
I got tickled at your grilling story....because that is how it is with my dad...he wants to grill everything when he fires it up!!!
Take care of yourself....
have a great day!
My kids accuse Hubs & me of doing the same thing. If they want to whisper amongst themselves, they're very sneaky. Plus they have their own lingo which I don't get.
"She's (put in whatever you want here) if you ask her now, she'll never pay attention and you'll get a "yes" for sure. roflol. That comment is SO true though!
