  • Monday Monday ...

    Monday Monday, so good to me,
    Monday Monday, it was all I hoped it would be

    Some days were just made for plugging in the headphones, writing and editing, and listing to folk music.  I'm having kind of a Peter, Paul and Mary, Mamas and Papas, Arlo Guthrie kind of day.  It's too bad I forgot and left my flash drive at home.  But by golly, I look like I'm working ...

  •   Well...look well the part....that's all the matters. 

    I asked Little Girl what that silky dress was because I missed that display.  She said she didn't read what it was...she just liked the dress.  So I'm clueless.  The other dress was a wedding dress worn by a pioneer women.  They were TINY by the way.  Next time we go again I'll read about the silky dress.  There was so much to read and see we could have been in there for hours.

  • I love the mamas & the papas...

    you remind me of when i was younger...putting the vinyl on the record player and listening to that album over and over...and staring at the album cover...the one of all of them in the bathtub...thinking what a jolly group they were and wondering what they were thinking...and listening and singing along

    yes, I am old enough to remember vinyl...and if i don't think about it very hard I still call a new cd a record...hehe!

  • search USAJOBS in NM and submit a few resumes.

    It may be helpful to get a good solid job when you move ha?

  • I heard one of the Mamas and the Papas on NPR last year. Can't remember which one, but they were talking with Teri Gross of Fresh Air about how they wrote California Dreamin'.
