  this is how it ends
  your voice so small
  it can't form a capital I
  my anger so large
  I can't speak it out.
  you said, i'm sorry
  vague, ineffectual, helpless
  meaning you're really
  uncomfortable having this
  conversation the way you
  were completely comfortable
  when you betrayed
  meaning that it's all over
  and if I speak any of that aloud
  I'm the mean one
  because you said,
  i'm sorry, i'm sorry, i'm sorry

  Does it work?  I liked the "meaning," "meaning," "mean" thing running through this because I want to show a scene where the "non-apology" is the mean thing.
