High Noon
Remember Shanghai Noon? At the end when Owen Wilson thinks that he's favored of God because he hasn't been hit by any of the bullets fired in his direction? That's me today.
The transportation coordinator interrupted me in mid request this morning to say, no problem, Michael can stay on the bus he's been riding.
Things are going well ... better ... at work.
Tucker broke a tooth at school, I got him an appointment this afternoon, but I knew that if I couldn't find the insurance info I'd have to pay cash on the spot. I didn't find it. So I took him to dentist stressing all the way and at the critical moment, Tim called me back with the numbers I needed for the claim.
Oh yeah, I'm invincible. SO if you'll excuse me, there's a pond I've been meaning to walk across, and I'm thinking now is the time to do it.

HAHA!
You are in some kinda company with Owen Wilson... what's his name in that movie? Some infamous outlaw or something. Have you seen the sequel? We actually liked it better because of the historical relevances. Praise God for dodging metaphorical bullets!
Good deal!
. . . but double check your powers before you try to leap from tall buildings. May I say "I told you so?"
Phew! All is well. All is well.
ROFL! That good huh? Well carry on then! *wink*
Glad things are a bit better and heading to even better. Judi
you GO, Girl!!!!!!
..and whatsoever we do shall prosper.....
Pond-walking's a fantastic sport, when you feel up to it. {{grins}}
Pond walking is always easy. Just remember that it works better on some occasions than others. Like your sisters' birthdays, not your own.
Otherwise, how else did the meeting go? Did you get everything, or at least most everything, you wanted?
Isn't that nice when everything comes together to produce a beautiful day! I hope your good fortune will stretch into a week of invincibility.
yay!!! see God is taking care of it. Chris would be saying to me see, no reason to worry. But then theres the thought well if I hadn't worried would it have all been taken care of. and the answer is probably but then I wouldn't realize how blessed I am!
Thanks for the get well wishes feel a lot better today. Judi

Spazzzzzzz
i just stopped back to see what time zone you are in!
Great story. I've been walking by faith a lot lately, too. As if moving across the country with just a few clothes isn't hard enough, I fell in love shortly before leaving Miami...and her. Timing has never been one of my strengths. But God is faithful, and I am holding it together in His grace.
BTW, I loved Shanghai Noon. Thanks for your encouraging comment.
