Ouch ...
Tucker dropped the jelly jar this morning. And jelly went all over the carpet. So he grabbed a wash towel and bent down to clean it up. That's when we discovered that the jar had broken. He cut his leg on the shard so we spent the morning in the ER.
He's okay. They didn't do stitches because of the location and his general activity level and the difficulty of wound care. He has a LOT of steri-strips. And he was told that he can't get it wet, so no actual BATH for seven days. He was downright happy about that.
I had to call in to work, so I'm having another day off and that's giving me a little (okay more than a little) anxiety. I know I promised the kids I wouldn't pick up any extra shifts this week, but if I pick up one to replace the one I'm missing now, that's not really extra, right?
Oy.
At least we have cookies and nachos.

I have to tell you that I was reading your blog while my hubby was trying to talk to me yesterday and I got to the point where you were talking about your hamster going to hamster "hay-ell" and I just lost it! Oh my, I needed that laugh!
