  • It's official -

I'm not sure what IT is but IT has definitely passed the point of possibility or light phase and gone straight to official.  I met my new friend Steve and his wife J.R. at Barnes and Noble.  We looked at the article Steve wanted to show me in Kiplinger Magazine and then I left.  Oh, I looked at a couple of books.  But all I could think of was the six boxes of unpacked books stacked in teh corner behind me and think "No!!! NO MORE BOOKS."

Whatever is going on with me - is no little thing.

  • I bet it has to do with your saving obsession.

  • I tell myself that all the time.  NO MORE BOOKS until you read all tjhose in the "to read" pile.  Uh...yeah.  I ordered another one yesterday.  So yeah, I guess it is a sickness, do you think there is a 12 step program out there somewhere?

  • have you read the books? I dont think there is a complete one that i havent read yet..
i must admit im struggling with the quantom theory one i bought, but i managed 3/4 of it before the bitterness of never understanding the maths hit me too hard..!

i have a couple on order from amazon presently ... the ghormenghast trilogy, i havent read it since i was 14 (and dead difficult I was then too) and im wondering will Mervin Peake hit the spot for me again, and if not for my daughter when she gets a bit older?

    books are ajoy!

  • Books aren't evil. Not unless you use one to clobber somebody with. LOL.

  • No no...it's people who tell you not to read books, who are evil.

    Books are our friends.

Even the ones which talk to us...

    ;)

  • It's the new book smell. I lobe books too .
Hope you are doing ok .

    Peace and Love :)

  • Happy weekend , Terri :)

    Peace and Love :)

  • You're a stronger woman than I. When I got my household funds yesterday, my first instinct was to head straight to the nearest bookstore for more books. To be fair, I had just finished the last of my unread books.
