  • Note to my lips ...

Okay, here's the deal, you've been hiding behind that nice conservative neutral shade of "toffee."  What color IS toffee anyway?  And you know what, that's just all wrong.  From now on, we're going back to the color that represents who we REALLY are.  We're ditching the toffee and  we're heading out to face the world in Redwood (Sequoia) by day, Crimson by night.

I applied for two jobs today by faxing (or emailing) my resume as requested.  And I had appointments with two separate Temp agencies.  The first agency in a very nice building in a nice part of town didn't seem very interested in talking with me.  I had the impression that they already have as many clients as they can handle.  I'm supposed to go back on Friday morning to take tests on Word and Excel.  Both of which I feel confident about.

My second appointment was in an office where people laughed, they seemed interested in talking to me, and only wanted to know whether I can type.  Well, okay they also wanted to know whether I could spell.  Who spells anymore!  You just type it and correct where Word puts the squiggly line, right?  LOL  I figure that my "spiling" challenged son will appreciate the fact that Mom had to take a spelling test today.  I'm to go back tomorrow morning for the typing test.

I'm thinking of changing my hair-color.  I like it red.  I mean I REALLY like it red.  All over my head it's the color of the highlights that have always gleamed through.  I love it.  But, I have this new-found conviction that I need to be bold.  I need to have bright red lips.  And well, lets face it, bright red lips just look better in contrast to dark dark hair and pale skin.  I have the pale skin thing covered ...
