That 18 year-old boy in Minnesota (who allegedly caused that virus) better have more punishment in store than just the house arrest that I read they gave him.
I always suspect virus and whatnot when my computer goes all wonky-- whatever the problem with yours-- I hope it gets fixed soon.

That happened to me too! I had just gotten the new computer and had just gone online on a Sunday. That Tuesday, KAPOW!!! It was amazing. Once I downloaded everying I need I was good again, but it was stunning. :frustrated:
I bet it has XP. I heard that OS is particularly vulnerable...

It is so damn eay to f*** up our computers and so much harder to fix em.
I am afraid the odds are on the side of the virtal vandals who toil at computers around the globe, intent only on causing harm.

Mac's don't get affected my viruses. It doesn't work. There is a lot of comfort in that too. My computer has so many things that I would be devasted if I lost... (All of Drew's baby pictures...)
I hope it gets better fast. Does the 'norton's virus' thingy help at all?

:waaahh: In a nutshell, that just sux. Hubby wants to know if you can get online at all because there are some fairly easy ways to get rid of it before it gets too bad. He said try http://www.pandasoftware.com. They have a free blaster removal tool. Hope ya get it fixed! (((hugs)))

My new PC is 5 days old. I hope hope hope it was protected... I paid a lot of money to have it "tuned up" before bringing it home.

antivirus softwares dont work. i fixed mine back up in 30 minutes. but you should go to another persons pc to go online to check what to do first.
