  • PS ~

Tim saw my blog yesterday and put a ball of Terry's Pure Milk Chocolate on my desk.  What a man!  (Of course, he also suggested two additions to the list - so I'm adding ornery and contrary.)

    Rainy Days

I tried to take a photo of George the Hamster when he was in the guitar, but it came out too dark.  I do have pix from afterward to show that he survived the experience, but Xanga isn't cooperating with me on the upload.  I wanted to be outside today working on flowerbeds and landscaping, but it's drizzly and cold.  I hate it that I can't do what I want when I want it.  I've been trying to think of a good word to sum up my outlook today and I haven't found one.  I have a list of possibilities that include

    crabby
    petulant
    bored
    unsatisfied
    moody
    grumpy
    irritable
    peevish
cross (I like cross pretty well, that may be the best of the list)
    annoyed
    tired
    touchy
    exasperated
    restless
    discouraged
    malcontent
    sulky
    dejected
    morose
    grouchy
and we can't leave off ~ depressed

all because its a gray day.  Well, not all because of the grayness.  I'm also out of chocolate.  But then not just because I'm out of chocolate, I also have nothing unread on my bookshelf.  Moreover, there is nothing I want to watch on television, look up online, or write about.  I yelled at Tucker because he was laughing too loud!?!  If I were my child, I'd send myself to bed for a nap.  Come to think of it, I have an inner child ~ maybe I can give it a time~out and try this whole "have a good day thing" again later.

  • Puretext has been in the mood described on that list for two days now; I gave him chocolate.  Sending some cyberchocolate and blessings your way.  Naps are wonderful cures for bad moods (I have a good deal of personal experience in this field).

  • Here's to brighter days! (((hugs)))

  • That was my day yesterday - only it was hot and a little to bright out. Kinda like today only I am in a better mood because of my new fish. Which, I tried to take a picture of as well, then I found out that Betta's don't like the flash from the camera and why am I babbling all of this in your comment section?I hope your laughing at me!!

  • Complete undertanding flows from the keys to you-ward...   I hate rainy, ole dreary days too.  Most all the words you listed could describe me as well when the drear persists.  It's begun raining here in the past hour, but at least earlier it was warm and sunny.  I am not getting out anymore today so I guess it's ok.  I hate being derailed though... working in the yard was such a joy and weather stopped me a few times...I wish for you blue skies and sunshine.

About the hampster in the guitar... I hope the hicoughs Xanga is having stop so we can see that pic!  danga xanga!!

Oh yes, and about the Bossy Breakfast... I am your soul mate when it comes to how things work (or do not work).  If I think anyone is demanding me... I dig my heels in the mud and make life difficult for us both.  If I am asked nicely, I hop right to it most every time.  I had a quote on a magnet I made for my fridge that said, "There are 2 ways in which you may say most everything... your happiness depends upon which you choose."

ok, crap... I am bloggin right here in your comment box!  I hate when that happens!

                   Hugs,

                             Deb

  • Awwww... I'm sorry your day isn't going as planned.  But please cheer up.  The sun will come out tomorrow ( Breaking into the broadway hit song).

I'm glad you like it when I'm bad

  • Tim is cute and funny there...

  • baby, I feel you loud and clear on this one.  I'm not above blaming the weather on my moods, too.  Really!  Too bad about the hamster pics, I was dying to see that one.   I get to meet ya in two days! woo!

  • wishin you some sunshine today.. ...

I can sometimes admire the beauty of a rainy day - especially when there are dogwood trees blooming and thunder/lightening.. but dreary cold days like today can get me down..

  • We have all had those kinds of days....I have more than my share...but find that I can compensate with great deals of chocolate...LOL

You have the cure...go toward the light..ROTFL!

    Take care crazy woman!

    Tina

  • My baby brought me chocolate yesterday.  Makes a world of difference, doesn't it?
