The Joy of Teaching Children
As I'm beginning to type this it's 6:45 am. It's important that you know that, since I sometimes get interrupted before I finish writing and if the time stamp winds up being somewhat later, you'll miss something of the significance. My husband loves to introduce our children to new things. New to them anyway. This morning as he was getting ready for work he found himself with a few extra minutes and two interested disciples.
"What's this called, Daddy?"
"That my child would be head-banger music."
"Why do they call it that?" (wild giggles)
"Because it makes you want to move your head like this." (wilder giggles)
I pulled the covers over my head and tried to pretend that I was still asleep. That way I could wake up and know that the overheard remarks were only a dream. But no, with headbanger music blaring from the stereo ... my imagination isn't that good.
"Bye, honey." (kissy sounds come from somewhere over my left ear) I pull the covers down just enough to glare at him.
"Oh, you'd better have a wonderful day!"

This wasn't what I was expecting when I read the title.
I was expecting something quite serious! Fooled me.......late for April Fool's, but effective nontheless

Sister - Captain Dread sails on a different tide. He believes that since you can't spend eprops, they are an insult to leave as a "tip" but he greatly values comments. I flatter myself that I'm a special favorite of his since he regularly speaks his mind here.
lol...head banging music! i remember when i was about 13, and i thought it looked really cool, so I gave headbanging my best shot...it had this alarming tendency to make me feel horribly dizzy!
I would think that seadog gives that 0 because he is one evil fellow and enjoys making people gasp, “Oh! Dread gave her a slash! How Evil!!!” Then reading his comment the voyeur becomes befuddled by the positive comment. The Rogue is a ball of confusion I tell you! I think the real reason behind the ‘dread prop’ is nothing more than the fellow wants you to think outside the box just for one second….

children are so cute... one of the kindergarten student came up to me and asked, "How come you don't come and talk to us anymore during worship?" I couldn't tell her that it was because they hired someone new to replace me... I just told her that I will stop by soon...

LOL sounds like fun.
gotta watch out for that heavy metal lol...its catchy..gets under your skin before ya know what hit ya...i ruined my sons from before they were born ...made em wiggly an restless..instead of the classical stuff they said i should let em hear..i listened to ozzy...as we were walking into a concert while pregnant with my first son they were literally yanking me by the arm begging me not to go in...lol maybe i shoulda listened..ya think thats what did it
