  • Why is it that if you offer a child a piece of candy he will dig to the bottom of the bag for one just like the one that was on the top?

  • LOL!  Yep...that's the truth!

  • I don't know, but birds do it too, pour seed in the dish and they will toss out all of it till they get to the very bottom...weird, huh?

  • LOL I've noticed that about birds!

I placed a library hold on that book you mentioned by Iris Johansen, I can't wait to read it - I love historical fiction (Forever Amber by Kathleen Winsor is probably my favorite book of all time!).  Are there any others you have read that are really excellent?  (Glaring historical inaccuracies curl my hair - that's why I loved Amber so much, she lifted all the historical detail directly from Samuel Pepys' diaries, some of it almost word for word ).

  • 'Cause the ones on the bottom are better. Everybody knows that.

  • I'm a middle of the bag kind of girl myself.  Too each their ownm right?

    I've missed you

  • My mother's canary used to throw all the seed that he didn't like out of the cage - and just eat what he wanted...and he never even got out of the cage to clean it all up afterwards!

  • I always wondered that myself.  I dunno, have to ask my kids that one.

  • Just because.

  • they're looking for the best one. i'm not a kid, but i still do that.

no. actually, i ask for the entire bag.

  • It's all about choice.  They may never reach the bottom of the bag legitimately; they may never know what that bottom piece of candy is like.  They may never know it's candy-goodness, so they gotta do it this way.  Another reason...

Cuzzz:)  (Why do kids do anything?  heh)

  • Kids!  They can be very funny at times!

  • That way they have the opportunity to examine every kind in between!

  • they MUST touch them ALL - that's the rule!
