I'll give you three guesses ...
Okay, most of you who've been reading here for a while know that I have two major concerns. One of those two got answered this morning. Wanna play three guesses? Nah, that would be tedious.
My boss called and told me that I've been approved for medical insurance. I've been a particularly difficult case due to the fact that I'm working long distance, the company they have used for other management doesn't provide services where I live.
So I did the research, found a plan that's affordable and provides me with the access to medical care I need. And this morning I got the green-light. I'm enrolling today and my coverage is effective May 1. All I have to do is avoid contracting something expensive for the next nine days and I'm good to go.
Ain't life GOOD!!!!

That is great!!!
I am glad for you but I went back to sleep after you called so I still haven't told Mom
with your sense of humor, hon, those 9 days not to mention next 90 or 900 (-: are going to be very healthy ox
That's WONDERFUL. Hold off that sky-diving trip until then.
No rock climbing either. Better not wear those red high heels just to be safe.
Yay!
awesome news!
What a relief that must be!
Stay healthy!
Congrats on the medical insurance that is a big deal. Judi
Life is GREAT!
I'm so happy for you.
Yeah isn't it great. We HAD to change insurance because if not we would have had to pay in excess of over $1000 + just for me and the 3 kids. My hubby's is paid by work, the rest of us is ridiculious!!!!! So we changed, now it's around $800+. Yes, you might be freaking out, I do everytime we pay.....worst thing is that we are not nearly insured as we were before..........nope.......and it totally SUCKS!!!!!!!
We have a ER bill for baby girl over $200 plus a Urgent Care visit of $35 all on the same day. I would have paid $100 total had I had my other insurance because HOSPITAL IS $100 flat fee. So that was an extra $135+ because our insurance carrier won't pay a flat fee for hospital, they put it on our deductible. Again it sucks. I have carried my 2 boys to the doctors at least 3 times in the past 4 months because people can't keep their kids at home when they are sick. PEOPLE let me explain.........School is not your babysitter. They don't get paid to watch your children, they get paid to TEACH. So stop send sick children to school!!! OKay enough ranting about that.
Back to insurance. We pay too much, not enough choices and if you are a small business, you are VERY screwed because you CANNOT get the same low rate as someone who has 100+ employees, how fair is that??? I think it sucks. Ranting again.......hehehe....sorry.
Yah you got insurance. I hope it's worth it.
BTW----Spazzzzzz does not rule the planet......hehehehe. Ahemmmmm okay she kinda does but does anyone here want her head the size of the Stay-Puf Marshmellow from Ghostbusters??? I mean think about it, we would have to fire that big ole head up and all that goo would be everywhere, I surely will not be the one who cleans that mess up!!!
Thanks for the input!!
it always feels good to be insured.
I recently bought AARP insurance. I am so glad that I did. It is going to save me a thousand in dental work. Judi
YEAH!!! I'm so happy for you!! Finally, you don't have to worry about twisting your ankle when you come visit next!
'gratz!
